TRINITY Volunteer Susan Dewhurst is using all her pedal power to raise money for our wonderful Memories Singalong Group.
A vital part of our admin team, Susan will be taking part in Ribble Valley Ride, a sponsored bike ride which sees the entry fee donated to Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
The event, on June 11, also allows participants to raise money for a cause of their choice.
Susan is doing the 25-mile enthusiast route, which will see her do a round trip from West Bradford back to town, via Waddington, Twitter Lane, Browsholme, Doeford Bridge and Chipping. After lunch it’s onto Chaigley and Hodder Bridge before heading back to Clitheroe.
Susan said: “I want to use this experience to raise a bit of money for the Memories Singalong Group (Dementia Friendly) which I help out at.
“It’s a lovely, much-needed group at grass root level, that meets every week. I know there’s always fundraising happening everywhere but if you’re able to make even a small £2 donation it honestly all helps and every penny will be put to good use.”
