AS PART of a commitment to the A Rocha Bronze Eco Church Award, Trinity made a promise to twin all its toilets.
By doing so, a project is funded in a community that helps families to build their own basic toilet, access clean water and learn about hygiene – a vital combination that saves lives.
With the opening of the newly refurbished Toll House, the Eco Group have found themselves with another toilet to twin – and have not rested on their laurels,
Nigeria was the chosen country, picked due to it being on the watch list of a Christian charity called Open Doors. Open Doors supports persecuted Christians by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and providing practical support.
As the team are well on with the submission for the Silver Award, they can now still say that ALL the toilets are twinned.
In the other Trinity spaces, toilets are twinned with ones in Afghanistan, DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Malawi, Uganda, Yemen and Zambia.
