The Trinity family were overwhelmed yesterday by the enormous response to their appeal for volunteers for the Eco Community Garden.
Plans to create this garden around the grounds of the hub have been overseen by Trinity’s Eco Group. It is hoped the space will include raised beds and attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators, creating a relaxed spot for quiet contemplation. Making the garden as sustainable as possible is the main focus, to reflect the church’s eco goals.
The first meeting took place yesterday with indoor helpers tasked with varnishing bird boxes and outdoor volunteers fitting the first bird feeder.
Everyone was well rewarded with a lovely lunch at the warm hub.
A huge thank you from all at Trinity, to the volunteers!
