Ribble Valley Christian Aid Group has been busy with plans for Christian Aid Week this year, which is from 10th to 16th May. The countries we support have been hit even more from climate change and the Covid pandemic this year, so we really hope that every church community in the Ribble Valley can contribute this Christian Aid Week.

Jenny Burnop (01200 427839) has some collection envelopes if you would like to contribute that way – give her a call.

Cash and cheques can be paid in on-line or at Lloyds Bank, Clitheroe; the account is:

Ribble Valley Christian Aid, Account 07570317, Sort 77-76-01

Or you can donate direct online using the following link: https://envelope.christianaid.org.uk/envelope/ribble-valley-ca-group . This is the Ribble Valley Group’s “E- envelope” and all donations made will be added to this year’s collection in the Ribble Valley.

Moving with the times, the Ribble Valley group is also planning a virtual walk to Kenya taking place in May 2021, passing through many interesting and exotic places on the way. Progress is made by people signing up with a £10 donation and then sending in their miles or Kms walked each week to propel us along the road to Kenya. If you would like to join up, send an email to: for a link, and instructions.

You can also follow the walk on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Walking-to-Kenya-102439468618159
