MEMBERS of Trinity’s Ukrainian community got together to commemorate two years of the war on Saturday.
After gathering at Clitheroe Castle’s Tree for Ukraine to light candles and take part in quiet reflection, the group came to Trinity to spend the afternoon together.
Natalya, a member of the Trinity Ukrainian family, helped make the giant flag that was unfurled in Preston last weekend.
At 50m wide by 6m deep, it is believed to be the largest Ukrainian flag in the UK and reflects a blue sky over wheat fields.
