What a stunning day for our last event of the year. Albeit chilly, the frost gave an added sparkle to a fabulous morning. Town crier, our very own Roland, set off the Clitheroe Castle parkrun, before joining us inside for refreshments.
Music was provided by the one and only Arthur Geldard Music, who kindly sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Lisa!
A special fundraising table for Brownies and Waddow Hall was run by Hylda and her helpers, and the cake stall, ably-manned by Anita in her festive hat actually ran out!
Becky added a seasonal twist to her face-painting, Claire helped sell charity calendars for our friends at Foundation For Ribble Valley Families, and Ian welcomed everyone in his usual inimitable style.
It was the last day of the Fairtrade Stall, which has run for 25 years so a huge thank you to Marjorie Saberton and Leslie Whymark.
It also goes without saying that it would not be what it is without our amazing volunteers. Here’s to more of our amazing Coffee Stops next year!
