CHILDREN’S laughter could be heard for miles as this month’s Live Wire definitely lived up to its name!
Held on the second Friday of the month, this free session for primary-aged children and parents has a huge emphasis on fun, including a Bible-based story.
Last night the children started with a game of cricket before making their own pizzas. Rev Ian then read them an animated version of the Easter story, before they returned to the hall to tuck into their pizzas.
Run by Jenny, Hylda and their loyal team of volunteers, the session is open to all children of primary age, with an accompanying parent, and is held from 3.30pm until 5pm, here at Trinity.
The ‘youth club’ style atmosphere sees the children enjoy football, cricket, curling and table tennis, to name a few, and there is often a crafting table.
The children love coming and it’s simply the best start to the weekend for them!
