A miserable May Bank Holiday Monday didn’t put a stop to Tim Bridgeman’s daring fundraising leap from an aeroplane. He just moved it a day earlier! Tim is raising money and awareness for SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) a cause close to his heart. Back down to earth, Tim said:
‘What an amazing experience! The weather was fantastic and the views from 15000 feet amazing even if it was cold! Apparently this is the highest skydive in the UK. 60 seconds of freefall seem to last forever and then gently descending to the ground when the main parachute was released was fascinating. I am so glad that I did this. It also teaches you a lot about trust, trusting the person that you are attached to and trusting the equipment. You may hear about it in a sermon sometime. Thank you to those who have been so generous with donations. The total so far is £2225 and will be very important to SANDS. It is much more than I imagined I would get. The link to my JustGiving page if anyone still wants to donate is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/timbridgeman ‘
