CHRISTIAN AID bunting adorned the hall for this morning’s Coffee Stop to show our commitment to fundraising for this vital charity.
In welcoming everyone, Geoff Holmes from Clitheroe United Reformed Church explained about the work of the charity to eradicate extreme poverty while preserving dignity, equality and justice.
Trinity Worship Leader, Hylda Emsden, invited everyone to join her in a small prayer.
Whether it was cakes, crafts, jigsaws or simply a good brew and bacon buttie that brought you to Trinity on a sunny Saturday morning, a warm welcome was waiting.
Today also marks the start of a new exhibition at our Hub Gallery. ‘Kids Things’ is by Caroline Assheton. It is a selection of drawings, paintings and screen prints, chosen from Caroline’s studio, to appeal to children.
We are lucky to have Caroline’s work here until July 31st and the gallery is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 4pm for viewings.
There is a prize draw to win one of her beautiful paintings and tickets can be purchased in reception when the gallery is open. All proceeds go to Trinity outreach.
Thanks to everyone who joined us this morning, but most importantly to our amazing volunteers who make it all happen!
