Teens

Teens

We are recruiting a Youth Worker to provide pastoral care for this age group, working across the whole of our network of churches in the Circuit to include Chatburn, Whalley, Paythorne and Waddington. Our buildings are directly leading on to the Castle park where we want to support partnership projects that tackle risk-taking behaviours amongst teenagers who hang out in the area.

Ageing Well

Ageing Well

The new building will provide spaces for us to work with partners on a range of activities with older people. We aim to work with partners on projects that address the issues of dementia support, loneliness and mental and physical wellbeing in an older than average population.

Family

Families

More and more families are coming to live in Clitheroe. This will be a great place to meet and make new friends. The new Community Hub will support those who are isolated because of socio-economic reasons, as new residents living in new housing or through the lack of extended family support and sense of community.

Loneliness and isolation and the associated risks to mental and physical health cut across all age groups, individuals, couples, families – large and small, rich and poor.

The Cookery Club team have a vision for the volunteers to be the delivery partners for a community café which would provide training and work experience to enable unemployed to get on-the-job training to help get back into work.
