Our Crafternoon team are at it again! We are busy making doves for our next outdoor installation for Pentecost Sunday which is celebrated on the 50th day (the seventh Sunday) from Easter Sunday. This is the day that Christians commemorate the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ sending them out and empowering them to share the good news that Jesus had risen and is alive. The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. You are welcome to make doves to include in our banners out of felt, knitting or even plastic milk bottles! Let us know if you can help. We have spare wool and can send you the pattern! Doves can be dropped off at Trinity on Saturday 15 May 10am – 12 noon.
